Designed for determining the in-situ density of fine-grained, compacted, or cemented soils in field conditions, this apparatus features a 3000 ml capacity for precise volumetric measurements.It is mainly composed of reinforced rubber membranes, cylinder, piston, barometer, locking clamps and base plate.

  Operating Principle  
  - Manual Hydraulic Drive: A manually operated piston forces water into a high-strength rubber membrane, expanding it to conform entirely to the shape of the excavated test hole.
  - Controlled Test Pressure: An integrated pressure gauge monitors water pressure throughout the procedure, ensuring all tests are conducted under identical pressure conditions for repeatable results.
  - Direct Volume Measurement: The piston rod features clear, precision-engraved graduations for direct reading of the water volume injected into the cavity.
