Pour a rough asphalt sample of approximately 1kg into the stainless steel bowl which has three rotating paddles at the bottom. The splitter can break up and crumble the asphalt sample into a granular form within 1~3 minutes. A hinged cabinet reducing noise protects the stainless steel bowl. When opening the cover while the splitter is working, a microswitch automatically stops the machine.
